The selection of study programs by high school students is often influenced by parental pressure, job trends, or prestige perception, rather than the child's natural potential and personality. This may lead to interest misalignment, academic stress, or even dropout. Through community service activities, we introduced the concept of Personality Genetic as an approach to help parents understand their children's natural tendencies based on genetic and early experiential factors. The activity was conducted as an interactive parenting workshop at SMA Muhammadiyah Program Khusus Kottabarat Surakarta, involving 60 parents of grade X students. Methods included personality concept education, simple assessments, case studies, and role-playing. Results showed that 85% of participants improved their understanding of the importance of aligning a child's personality with their study program. Participants also reported greater readiness to support their children in choosing majors based on natural potential rather than external pressure. Thus, Personality Genetic proves effective as a parental guidance tool for more appropriate and enjoyable study program selection.
